    Elizabeth is an award-winning teacher and writer with a Ph.D. in English literature from Vanderbilt University. Originally from New Jersey, she double-majored in English and history at Rutgers University. In 2008, she won the College Board Bob Costas Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Writing. In 2011, she transitioned from classroom teaching to establish a private tutoring business. An accomplished author, her first, *History According to SAT: A Content Guide to SAT Reading and Writing*, received the Nonfiction Authors Association Silver Award in the Teen Category and was a finalist in the YA Non category at the American Book Fest. Elizabeth currently lives in Albany, NY, and she is working on a test prep book for the Praxis Core Reading and Writing tests.
